Hello folks! My name is Shayne. I am the source of the music from Under Feather. Pretty much a 1 man band. Music has been a driving force in my life since I was very young. I got my first guitar when I was 12. Traded a teacher at school some lessons for better grades. School wasn't really my thing you know.... Played in a couple bands over the years. Then came a wife & kids... ;)

I never really learned to read or write music. On paper that is.... It just seemed to come out of me! This holds true to this day.... To me, when I write, it's like painting a picture. And thanks to my trusty old DX-7 & the internet I have 1000's of colors to choose from! I've always wandered a bit of a different path sorta speak. I think you'll hear that in my "paintings". These days I write and record my music in a room that I like to call "the cabin". The way that this room is set up leaves me feeling very much like I'm in a small one room cabin in the woods of northern Minnesota. In "the cabin" I have many guitars. A cheap bass. The old Yamaha DX7. And the famous SR-16 drum machine. I cover many different genres of music from straight forward rock to film music. I think you will find it to be very unique!
