Biography
I'm your friendly global neighborhood audiocandy.com guy along with Ron Sinnott (he's quite friendly as well!)
I'm much more of a music fan than a creator... though I get the bug to write and record once in a while.
A little of what I've recorded is here. A couple of those pieces complete, others... well..... thats just where I stopped.
The "Cobain" tune is my favorite of my own stuff. I'd heard REM - Losing My Religion one day in 2000 (it had already been around for quite some time) but on this particular listen... I decided, I wanted to write that!
It is of course, nothing like "Religion" but that tune is what pushed me down the road to write the "Cobain" piece.
I sort of swapped out "Religion" for "Life" and put in Kurt as a guy that had apparantly lost both.
A simple piece, created in about two hours from idea to recorded. Another week in the studio for touch up production work and mastering and Viola!
When I got the piece back from the producer... I was blown away by it really. Not that it was like all that good, but all of it fell out of me... vocals, guitars, sequencing and the rest. An interesting experience and a real rush. I hear that recording once in a great while.... and sometimes in my car with that Infinity sound system all ramped up. That there IS fun! Your own music shaking your own car ;)

Bill!! Howdy. I am here on the site. Did you know you have to scroll down a bit before you see the bio and picture etc...I thought something was amiss! I was trying to post a gig in september. Is there a gig section or upcoming events? Also, how do I change stuff on lauracoyle.com? (ie a new gig, or edit my bio etc?) Lemme know as I am back on track with music! XXX LOVE Laura |

Hello Bill Thank you for making it possible that I can listen to wonderful music and great artists on BIG BLUE RADIO and the other radio channels! Because of you I hear music of the past again that brings back good memories. Also on BBR as well as Audiocandy.com I hear music of artists I never heard about before in my country. I am glad that I "met" you, because you are not only a great artist, but also a nice man! Thank you for playing so often my requests! Fieneke from the Netherlands |
