About me

Married to the other half of audiocandy.com - Ron. 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren, 2 granddogs. Am an artist who's current passion is pencil portraiture. Please check out my pics! For several years, I was an artist/author/travelling seminar teacher for the Decorative Painting industry. Now, life's more quieter, and I have a great job with a great local company as an administrative assistant. I have many passions - first is my family. We have a GREAT life! I love to cook, garden, read, paint, sketch, and perform volunteer service work....oh, and did I mention that I'm PASSIONATE about music?!!! I've recently learned the pennywhistle and bodhran, so I can play in celtic jam sessions with Ron, who dazzles with his mandolin. But, deep in my heart, I'm a classic rock chick...give me the Stones, Aerosmith, Humble Pie, Zep....ahhhh!

Thanks, Fieneke! Are you familiar with Tole or Decorative Painting? I used to design, write books and travel teach Decorative Painting (or Tole Painting) techniques and projects. Now I just draw and paint for myself or commissions. Art's always been an important part of my life. I'm self-taught and have a lot to learn...that's the beauty of it, always something new to learn.
