Frank's ART Gallery

Artist History Frank began playing guitar at age 13. His dad bought him an inexpensive acoustic guitar to learn on, which he played for 2 years. At 15 his parents gave him a Christmas present... a Hagstrom electric guitar and a Guild amplifier.
In his college years he was a member of a progressive rock group AXMINSTER, that performed songs by YES, KANSAS, RUSH, GENESIS, PINK FLOYD as well as the band's own original music. After AXMINSTER disbanded he and the bassist John formed an original group called 1369 which recorded and did receive FM radio airplay in the NY area. At this time Frank also played guitar in many different productions of GODSPELL including a Northeast touring theater group.
In the early 90's Frank formed SCRATCH N' SNIFF with friend and lead singer Dave Crisman. This band recorded and played live for about 5 years and underwent many personnel changes. In the mid 90's Frank was a member of a power trio original group called FAT RABBIT. The band rehearsed and played in NYC's Greenwich Village. He was also playing in a Westchester PINK FLOYD tribute band where he met Roberta Roberts, and eventually they formed their own original band BLACK DIAMOND. BLACK DIAMOND played in NYC and the tri-state area. They recorded one studio album in 2000 and in 2001 recorded a live album in Northern Colorado. Their music has been aired on FM radio in the NY area. The band has begun work on a second studio album.
At this time Frank started his own instrumental solo project called THIS LIFE. His first album was released in April of 2004 and the second album 'Magic' was released January 2006.
