My name is Fieneke and I live in the Netherlands. I am married for almost 30 years and have 2 grown up sons (26 and 24) who still like to live in my house! LOL I am a Municipal Official and work as an Advisory Expert at the Social Security Department for people who need social security benefit / income support. I am online for about 10 years now and like to read and write messages at the websites of my friends in the USA and UK. During all those years I met many nice people and learned about their culture, history and the way they live and I like to tell about mine. After knowing many people for so many years, some became very close friends of me!
Besides reading and writing, I also LOVE listening to music. I met Bill Atkins in 2004/2005 at a site of a friend we have in common, but it took a while before I knew he had this internet radio station with his business partner Ron Sinnott. January 27th 2006 I became a member of Audiocandy.com and since that moment I am listening to the stations and visiting the site every day! It is great to hear so much beautiful music of famous artists and bands, but also of so many unknown Independent artists! By listening I discovered a LOT of new songs of great artists I never heard about before in my country and perhaps never will. It is also wonderful that people are able to request songs at the main stations. Often I hear wonderful music of the past which brings beautiful memories back again.
Bill and Ron created a place at their station not only for artists but also for fans who love music. In September 2006 I got the possibility to create my own webpage here at Audiocandy. A little while later I even was able to “create” my own radio station which is called “Listen and LOVE this music”! It is great to share the music of my favourite Independent artists with my friends and other visitors. I hope by listening to my station or one of the other stations here at Audiocandy.com that you all will enjoy the music as much as I do! You can also request songs of artists I play at the main stations like Big Blue Radio, Green Mist Radio etc and buy their music.
I want to thank my friends Bill and Ron for giving me so much joy with listening to all the beautiful music they have at their stations and for giving me the possibility to have my own radio station and forum where I can talk about my favourite artists, music and share videos! I also like to write about our Dutch traditions, post funny messages and to share vacation pictures of beautiful places in Europe where we have been.
